Creation of spawning and resting areas for protected aquatic species, as part of the environmental compensation measures for Line 15 South: The compensation measure aims to provide ecological added value to the project through the following actions: - Creation of helophyte beds in shallow areas without aquatic vegetation, - Creation of timber retaining structures in deeper areas, with the creation of a diversity of habitats (helophytes, hydrophytes, minerals); - Preservation of existing spawning sites, - Creation of habitats adjoining existing natural habitats along the banks and aquatic plant beds to improve lateral connectivity at low water levels, - This work must be carried out from a barge. It includes a preparatory works phase comprising, in particular, tree pruning and/or felling work and the treatment of invasive alien species. During the works phase, the driving of piles, construction of timber retaining structures, transport and placement of filling materials (soil, sand, gravel, etc.), and transport and placement of plantings are expected in particular.
