France – Machinery for liquefying air or other gases – Acquisition of a helium gas recovery and compression system and a helium liquefier

Opportunity description

Acquisition of a complete gaseous helium compression system at the IEMN site associated with gas storage tanks at 200 bars (Lot 1). This assembly will be supplemented by liquid helium transport tanks (Lot 2) and associated with a liquefaction system (Lot 3), installed at the Chevreul federation site (Bldg. RMN 1200). Lot No 1: Acquisition and installation of a complete helium gas recovery, compression and storage system comprising: - an 8 to 12m3 gas holder - a 200-bar compressor, with a capacity allowing the gas holder to be emptied in between 30 minutes minimum and 2 hours maximum - a low-pressure network connecting 3 scientific instruments and the gas holder to the building's collection network - a high-pressure network connecting the compressor to the gas storage racks - 3 racks of 9 high-pressure storage cylinders at 200 bars Lot No 2: Two 100-litre liquid helium tanks Lot No 3: Acquisition and installation of a complete helium gas liquefaction assembly comprising: - a high-pressure dryer; - an automatic helium purifier; - two liquefiers with production capacities of 20 and 40L/day Procedure: open.
