France – Refuse-compaction vehicles – Acquisition of a 26-tonne refuse collection vehicle

This service includes: The supply and delivery of a heavy-duty cab chassis prepared for a refuse collection body, The supply of a refuse collection body and two bin lifters, The exact content of the services is detailed in the CCTP. The chassis supplied shall have a GVWR of 26 tonnes, be of the 6x2*4 type with a third steering axle, and be designed to accommodate a refuse collection body with a minimum volume of 20 m³. The vehicle shall be perfectly suited to intensive use in door-to-door household waste collection, with frequent stops and starts, repeated manoeuvres, travel in rural areas and passage through old village centres. The vehicle shall be new, never registered, compliant with the regulations in force on the delivery date and approved for use as a refuse collection vehicle in accordance with standard EN 1501-1. The wheelbase shall be as short as possible and less than or equal to 3.5 m, in order to ensure excellent manoeuvrability on the territory's collection routes. This chapter describes the minimum technical requirements expected for the supply, installation and commissioning of a refuse collection body intended for the collection of residual household waste and recyclable household packaging. The body shall be perfectly suited to intensive use in door-to-door collection, with frequent stops and starts, repeated emptying of wheeled bins, travel in rural areas and passage through town centres. The equipment supplied shall be new, compliant with the regulations in force on the delivery date and compliant with standard EN 1501-1. The body shall be compatible with the 26-tonne chassis selected under lot No. 1. The contractor for lot No. 2 undertakes to ensure perfect technical coordination with the contractor for lot No. 1.
