Conduct of a special audit pursuant to Section 44(1), sentence 3 KWG in conjunction with Article 22(5) of Regulation (EU) 909/2014 (routine audit). The special audit covers the assessment of whether the institution has sound corporate governance and control arrangements. In particular, it is to be examined whether the institution has a clear organizational structure with precisely defined, transparent and coherent areas of responsibility, an appropriate remuneration policy, and appropriate control mechanisms pursuant to Article 26(1) CSDR.
