As part of this construction project, new office and lounge rooms for SGM will be created within the building area at Munich Airport. A key objective is the structural separation of the security screening area (SiKo) from the adjacent office rooms. The work will be carried out in accordance with Munich Airport's technical guidelines, the BayBO, and the relevant DIN standards. Description of the natural stone work: The scope of services includes: - Delivery, transport, and proper storage of the natural stone materials at the construction site. - Inspection and preparation of the existing substrates for suitability, evenness, load-bearing capacity, and residual moisture. - Construction of the necessary leveling and installation substrates. - Installation of natural stone slabs (e.g., granite, gneiss, or comparable high-quality natural stones) using the thin-bed, medium-bed, or thick-bed method in accordance with the planning documents. - Precise compliance with the specified laying patterns, joint grids, axes, and height connections. - Construction of movement, perimeter, and connection joints in accordance with the technical requirements. - Cutting and fitting around built-in elements, columns, facade connections, doors, escalators, elevators, and technical equipment. - Grouting of the natural stone surfaces with suitable joint mortars compatible with the material. - Cleaning of the installed surfaces and performance of initial maintenance and, where applicable, impregnation. - Protection of the completed surfaces against damage by subsequent trades until acceptance.
