Overall BIM coordination services The planning and implementation of the new construction project “Future Center for German Unity and European Transformation” in Halle (Saale) will be carried out with the consistent application of the model-based, component-oriented planning method Building Information Modeling (BIM). All planning and execution processes are to be carried out primarily on the basis of digital specialist models from the disciplines involved. Construction work will also be methodologically supported by BIM. The BIM method must be applied throughout in accordance with the agreed requirements. Overall BIM coordination assumes a central role here as the operational and integrative interface between BIM management/client (AG) and the planning contractors (AN). It ensures the interdisciplinary coordination, integration and quality assurance of all BIM-relevant processes. The focus of overall BIM coordination is to ensure the consistent, contradiction-free, timely and quality-assured implementation of the defined BIM use cases as well as compliance with the contractually agreed model qualities. To achieve the successful completion of the work, all agreed BIM use cases must have been successfully implemented. The commission will be awarded in service stages.
