Opportunity description

Building design services for the conversion of the City of Überlingen’s main fire station: Basic services in accordance with Annex 10 to Section 34(4) HOAI. In accordance with the requirements of the 2022 fire service requirements plan, the City of Überlingen intends to fundamentally convert and redesign the main fire station site in order to meet the current requirements of the fire service and maintain its operational capability in the future. The existing fire station site consists of a single-storey vehicle hall dating from the 1950s, without a basement, and a two-storey operations building dating from the 1980s, with a basement. The vehicle hall dating from the 1950s is to be demolished and replaced by a new two-storey building without a basement, with a vehicle hall and storage areas on the ground floor and other ancillary rooms on the upper floor. A total of 22 size 3 parking bays are required in the vehicle hall. Due to the boundary of the site to the west, it will not be possible to accommodate all parking bays in one vehicle hall, even with the vehicles arranged in two rows, meaning that an additional vehicle hall will be required, in which a washing bay is also to be provided. The construction project is to be implemented in two construction phases while operations continue. The contract put out to tender comprises: - Building design services: Basic services in accordance with Annex 10 to Section 34(4) HOAI; - Phased commissioning of building design services: o Construction phases I and II, service phases 1-3; o Construction phases I and II, service phase 4 (building application for both construction phases); o Construction phase I, service phases 5-6; o Construction phase II, service phases 5-6; o Construction phase I, service phases 7-9; o Construction phase II, service phases 7-9.
