The safety and health protection coordination (SiGeKo) for the following subprojects: Subproject 1: Hazardous substance remediation and demolition of existing buildings Subproject 2: Demolition and new construction of the perimeter wall Subproject 3: New construction of the JVA with all infrastructure The State of North Rhine-Westphalia, represented by the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW, Dortmund branch (BLB NRW), is planning the new construction of the Iserlohn correctional facility (JVA) at Heidestraße 41, 58640 Iserlohn-Drüpplingsen. The new JVA will be built exclusively on the existing special-use area. The buildings of the existing facility—constructed between 1969 and 1986—will be completely demolished, including the perimeter wall; the staff residential buildings have already been demolished. The new correctional facility will be an institution for juvenile and adult female prisoners in closed custody, with corresponding treatment, education and work programs.
