The subject of the contract is structural engineering services pursuant to Sections 49 et seq. HOAI 2021, service phases 1 to 6, with phased commissioning. Various Special Services may also be commissioned. The municipality of Westendorf (Ostallgäu district) is planning the construction of a new fire station. The building is designed for around 80 active firefighters and includes a vehicle hall with three parking bays as well as an integrated wash bay. The vehicle hall is planned with clear dimensions of approx. 15,80 × 14,00 m, and the wash bay with approx. 6,00 × 11,00 m. The agreed space program also includes storage and workshop areas, changing, sanitary and operational areas, training and administrative rooms, as well as the required outdoor facilities. Timber construction, modular construction and solid construction are all generally under consideration. Against this background, applicants are required to provide one reference project in each of the three construction methods as proof of suitability. The agreed space program also includes storage and workshop areas, changing, sanitary and operational areas, training and administrative rooms, as well as the required outdoor facilities. This results in a total usable floor area of around 950 m². The building site is located in the south of the municipality on Dösinger Straße and has previously been used for agricultural purposes. Funding is to be applied for for the project. The award of the contract and the immediately subsequent project start are scheduled for November / December 2026. Construction is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027. Completion, including completed remediation of defects and commissioning, is to take place in the third quarter of 2028.
