The Groß-Bieberau bypass is listed as an urgent requirement in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030. Currently, the B 38 through-road in Groß-Bieberau runs through the town center for a length of 2.2 km. Following the route confirmation already issued (completion of service phase 2, “Preliminary investigation”) by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMV), the planning project is now to be developed further in accordance with service phases 3 to 5 HOAI. The District Committee of the Darmstadt-Dieburg District, Department of Climate Protection, Infrastructure and Location Promotion, is seeking a firm to carry out geotechnical investigations and assessments for the B 38 Groß-Bieberau bypass project as part of the planning for service phases 3 to 5. The Groß-Bieberau bypass is listed as an urgent requirement in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030. Currently, the B 38 through-road in Groß-Bieberau runs through the town center for a length of 2.2 km. The study area is located in the southern Hessian district of Darmstadt-Dieburg, in the transition zone between the Vorderer Odenwald and the Reinheimer Hügelland. The preferred alternative is located east of the built-up area of Groß-Bieberau, with a planned length of approximately 2.5 km and 4 structures (see Annex 02, site plan, Alternative B).
