For the fundamental renovation of Saint Mary’s Municipal Church, Lot 2, structural engineering specialist planning in accordance with § 51 HOAI, is being put out to tender. Notwithstanding repair work already carried out on Meiningen Municipal Church, there is still a considerable need for renovation. In particular, the natural stone façades, roof and load-bearing structures, as well as the historic leaded glazing, exhibit age- and weather-related damage that makes comprehensive and coordinated renovation planning necessary. Against this background, the Municipal Church is to be sustainably repaired, taking into account monument preservation, structural, restoration and economic requirements, and secured for its future use in the long term. The objective is an overall renovation that can be implemented in stages while preserving as much of the historic building fabric as possible. To carry out the planning services, the following specialist lots will be awarded as part of this procurement procedure: Lot 1 - Building project planning in accordance with §§ 33 et seq.
