Opportunity description

For the fundamental renovation of Saint Mary's Town Church in Meiningen, Lot 1, building design services (architect) pursuant to § 34 HOAI, is being tendered. Notwithstanding the repair work already carried out on Meiningen Town Church, there is still a considerable need for renovation. In particular, the natural stone façades, roof and structural constructions, as well as the historic leaded glazing, exhibit age- and weather-related damage that requires comprehensive and coordinated renovation planning. Against this background, the Town Church is to be sustainably repaired, taking into account heritage conservation, structural, restoration and economic requirements, and safeguarded in the long term for its future use. The objective is an overall renovation that can be implemented in stages while preserving as much of the historic building fabric as possible. To carry out the design services, the following specialist lots will be awarded as part of this procurement procedure: Lot 1 - Building design services pursuant to §§ 33 ff.
