Opportunity description

Planning services for the roof renovation of the Chancery and Residence, including the implementation of a PV system: The general planning services to be commissioned include the preparation, as soon as possible, of planning documents and functional descriptions for the building design and technical building equipment as a basis for implementing the measure. A type of construction and execution that is suitable and durable for the location of Conakry is to be identified. Implementation is to take place in 2026-2027. The following project-specific planning services are to be provided: 1. Basic evaluation and preliminary planning: As part of the preliminary planning, a concept for an optimal roof structure for the two buildings is to be developed. Transport options for materials and/or components to be procured in Germany must be examined. The preliminary planning must be coordinated with the AV and the BfAA, with the aim of complying with cost and schedule planning and local building regulations in the planning. This coordination must be documented accordingly. Following preliminary planning, the tendering and award procedure will be carried out. The Contractor will prepare the procurement documents. 2. Design planning: Submission of the design planning in German, with all associated documents described in the contract. Including the preparation of a functional performance specification for all components and technical systems. The functional performance specification must describe all technical and structural requirements, quality specifications, any specifications regarding materials and products, etc. The design planning and functional performance specification will be handed over to the Client as the contractual basis for further planning and construction implementation. 3. Execution planning: Preparation of the execution planning in cooperation with the manufacturer for all modules and safety elements, including coordination and interface planning with all planners involved. Necessary consultations and coordination regarding execution, workshop and installation planning. Review and evaluation of the plans. 4. Preparation of and participation in the award procedure: Basic services of LPh 6 and LPh 7 for the award of construction services. Any necessary advice and support for local procurement procedures. 5. Site supervision: Selective monitoring and documentation of the work performed by local construction companies for compliance with the agreed specifications. Obtaining all necessary decisions from the Client, including in particular change management with decision-making documents and resolution of conflicting objectives. If necessary, conducting project meetings with project participants. Systematic compilation of the complete final documentation. Conducting performance and functional tests of structural and technical systems. Preparation of and participation in acceptance and handover to the Client. Monitoring the rectification of defects identified during acceptance. Coordination of the complete final documentation.
