Opportunity description
The Campus Deutz megaproject of Cologne University of Applied Sciences is pursuing modernization through replacement buildings at the Deutz site. It is based on the 2012 master plan and the modernization agreement, with the aim of creating an urban-integrated, future-ready campus for approximately 10,000 students and 650 employees. Building D, which is relevant to this procurement, represents a significant subproject within this measure. It forms the northeastern edge of the Campusplatz and shapes the external appearance at the corner of Gießener Straße and Deutzer Ring. The usable floor area is approximately 13,118 m2 across seven floors and includes the Faculty of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering, central workshops, university administration and the library archive. Implementation will take place in the 2nd of a total of 3 construction phases on the campus. Building D is currently in LPH3. After LPH4, the contract will be awarded to a general contractor by means of a functional performance specification. Particular attention is being paid to integrating the technical infrastructure project, likewise a separate subproject of this overall measure, and connecting it to its central energy supply, which is located in Building E (also a subproject). Handover of Building D to the user is planned for September 2032 so as not to delay the subsequent construction phases. Further dates can be found in Annex 04, Schedule Framework. SiGeKo services, service levels 1 and 2 Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
