HOAI, service phases 1–9 The Neuburg-Schrobenhausen District intends to completely renovate the single-court gymnasium of the Neuburg a. d. Donau State Vocational School. The building was constructed in 1984 and used intensively for many years, at times also as accommodation for refugees. Its advanced age and intensive use have resulted in a clear need for renovation. While, according to current information, the gymnasium roof does not require renovation, the remaining building components and technical systems no longer meet current requirements for safety, functionality and energy efficiency. The building fabric, technical installations and equipment must be renewed to a large extent; renovation down to the structural shell will probably be necessary to ensure cost-effective and lasting modernization. In parallel with the planned complete renovation, the school authority is renewing the school’s existing water network, necessitating coordination regarding pipe routing, the construction sequence and intervention points. This procurement covers the design of buildings pursuant to Sections 34 et seq. HOAI for service phases 1 through 9. Planning aspects include, among other things, handling the existing building structure, preserving the roof structure and taking into account the parallel water-network renewal measure. The objective is to develop a cost-effective and functional planning solution that meets the requirements of a modern school gymnasium. The measure will be carried out while the adjacent school remains in operation. The local presence of construction supervision is highly relevant to the contracting authority. Funding under Bay-FAG is to be applied for for the measure, as well as additional funding where possible (e.g. BEG). Procedure: neg-w-call.
