78464 Konstanz, Mainaustraße 213, KN, University, replacement construction of sports hall, engineering services pursuant to Part 4 Section 1 HOAI (structural engineering for the building and excavation pit shoring) and project planning pursuant to Part 3 Section 3 HOAI (excavation pit shoring) The State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by Vermögen und Bau Baden-Württemberg, Konstanz Office, as the owner of the state-owned properties of the University of Konstanz, is planning the construction of a replacement building for the university sports hall at the Konstanz-Egg site. After approximately 44 years of intensive teaching and research operations, the existing main building (three-court sports hall) has reached the end of its useful life. To ensure modern and functional sports facilities for research and teaching, a replacement building at the same location with a usable floor area (NUF 1-7) of approximately 2,450 m² is planned. Existing extensions are to be retained and functionally incorporated into the design of the replacement building. In terms of building law and fire safety, the building is to be designed as a place of assembly (for special events held by the university). In addition, the planning and implementation of an interim facility, which is to be erected on the neighboring sports grounds during the construction period, form part of the overall contract. The estimated construction costs amount to approximately EUR 15 million net. Construction is scheduled from June 2028 to September 2030. Engineering services pursuant to Part 4 Section 1 HOAI (structural engineering for the building and excavation pit shoring) and project planning pursuant to Part 3 Section 3 HOAI (excavation pit shoring), basic services as well as special services for service phases 2-8.
