By expanding and renovating the Ruperti Primary and Middle School in Laufen, the City of Laufen intends to meet the school’s current needs as well as the needs of all-day care. The cafeteria/kitchen area in the new building is intended to meet the needs of the school, crèche and kindergarten, and all-day care/after-school care. The food-serving capacity is designed to provide approximately 330 meal participants (VT) with hot lunches in 2 shifts, as well as break-time sales. Lunch will be prepared in the fresh-food kitchen. The meals will be distributed directly in the cafeteria and internally to various groups using suitable means of transport. The bases for this are: Food serving/cafeteria: Catering for approx. 250 VT / 2 shifts with a tray system Crèche / kindergarten: Catering for VT in groups, approx. 80 VT, using food-serving trolleys Thus, according to the current state of knowledge, approx. 330 VT will be catered for, which serve as the basis for the total capacity. The cost estimate for the kitchen equipment amounts to approx. €400,000 net (kitchen equipment & cold rooms). Further information can be found in the planning documents provided. The contracting authority points out that a company had already previously been involved in carrying out service phases 1-4. To compensate for this advantage, information and work results will be made available during the procedure. Some of the documents will be provided upon publication, with further work results provided with the invitation to the negotiated procedure. In this way, the contracting authority ensures that competition is not distorted by any participation of the previously involved company (cf. § 7 paras. 1 and 2 VgV). Procedure: neg-w-call.
