The expansion and electrification of the existing Ringzug network are prerequisites for implementing the future service concepts in local rail passenger transport (SPNV). The project comprises the construction and reconstruction of track and platform facilities, control-command and signalling measures, the electrification of existing line sections, and the construction and reconstruction of civil engineering structures, including several road and railway overpasses. As a basis for the design planning, subsoil and soil investigations, including geotechnical assessments and soil analysis, must be carried out along the affected line and facility areas. The subject of the procurement procedure is the preparation of investigation concepts, the planning, tendering, technical supervision and evaluation of subsoil explorations, field and laboratory tests, and the preparation of geotechnical reports and BIM specialist subsoil models for a total of three procurement lots. The services also include obtaining or arranging the required notifications, approvals and permissions to enter properties, coordination with authorities, property owners and specialist stakeholders, and coordination of the exploration measures. The expert services relate in particular to electrification line sections, platform and track facilities, signalling systems, pedestrian underpasses, energy installations, and road and railway overpasses within the districts of Schwarzwald-Baar, Rottweil and Tuttlingen.
