Bahnareal Meiningen - Design Supervision The Contractor shall assume artistic supervision of all areas of the building and specialist planning for the overall “BAHNAREAL Meiningen” project, in particular buildings, engineering structures, transport facilities, outdoor facilities and TA. The service comprises advisory and supervisory support for the planning and construction work with regard to design, in particular the review of design, execution and detail decisions, material, surface and open-space concepts, as well as the design assessment of the work performed in all building areas. The Contractor shall participate in design-related coordination and decisions between the building plans and advise on necessary adjustments or alternative solutions to safeguard the overall design quality. Artistic construction supervision shall be performed without assuming the tasks of technical construction management or building supervision pursuant to HOAI and without responsibility for costs, deadlines, contract awards or technical defects. Both technical and commercial supervision are crucial to the success of a complex overall project such as “BAHNAREAL Meiningen”.
