Opportunity description
Railway line 1120 connects the two Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lübeck. It is one of the most important connections between Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and part of the freight corridor from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean. To improve the condition of the infrastructure, DB InfraGO AG will therefore carry out renewal and maintenance measures on tracks, switches, control-command and signalling technology, overhead lines, civil engineering structures (bridges, culverts and retaining walls), as well as transport facilities and noise barriers as part of a general refurbishment during a nearly 6-month complete closure in the second half of 2028. In advance, underground cable construction work and, among other things, the upgrading of a stabling facility in Bad Oldesloe will take place from September 2026. In this invitation to tender, DB InfraGO AG is awarding the associated construction supervision service "Safety and Health Protection Coordination". Procedure: neg-w-call. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
