Opportunity description
Award of planning services for the conversion and expansion of the primary school at the Friedrich-von-Schiller-Schule in Reilingen The municipality of Reilingen is located in the Rhein-Neckar district in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Reilingen currently has approximately 8,400 inhabitants. An important educational institution is the Friedrich-von-Schiller-Schule—a primary and community school. The primary school is a voluntary three- or four-form-entry all-day school attended by approximately 330 pupils. The community school has two or three forms per year, with approximately 350 pupils. Here, the children and young people from grade 5 onward work at different levels. In order to meet the state requirements for a partially compulsory all-day primary school, the ancillary building of the Schiller-Schule, constructed in 1976 and last expanded 25 years ago, must once again be renovated and converted, and an extension must be added connecting the primary school building and the main building. In order to obtain a sound basis for decision-making, including a space program and cost estimate, the Reilingen architectural firm Vögele was commissioned in July 2025 with the preliminary planning (service phases 1 and 2). Accordingly, the primary school requires 14 classrooms, 1 preparatory class, and 7 differentiation rooms. Cloakrooms and learning niches are to be set up in the corridors. The all-day concept also provides for quiet rooms for pupils and teachers, a larger staff room, a library and meeting rooms, as well as a covered schoolyard. At present, the primary school's teaching rooms are still spread across three buildings. The current size of the classrooms, at just under 60 square meters, does not meet the state's quality requirements for an all-day school, where at least 70 square meters plus a differentiation room are required. According to the current preliminary design, conversion measures are necessary on the ground floor of the existing building (E-building) and in the existing main building. A new three-story building is to be constructed between the main building and the E-building, connecting the two existing buildings. The preliminary planning is available. The costs for this option are estimated at approximately €9.6 million gross. The planning services required to implement the measure are part of this procurement procedure. The following lots will be awarded: Lot 1: Building and interior design services Lot 2: Technical equipment HLS Lot 3: Technical equipment Elt Lot 4: Structural design see Lot 1. Procedure: neg-w-call. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
