General The Federal Autobahn GmbH (AdB) intends to commission the planning of the construction of an operational telecommunications system on the BAB A21 federal motorway in the sections between the Wahlstedt cable house (KH) (km 40.25) and the Klein Barkau/Preetz junction (km 8.0). As a result of this measure, a fully functional telecommunications route (new cable house, conduits, manholes, splice closures, Cu and fiber-optic cables, etc.) based on TR-KISS is to be constructed along the route, surveyed and commissioned. In some sections, a cable protection conduit system already exists and is to be used as part of the measure described here. The planning and construction of the telecommunications system can be divided into several construction sections: Section Km from-to Route length[km] Remarks 1_North 8.0 - 15.9 7.9 Conduits and manholes present 1_South 15.9-20.1 4.2 Conduits and some manholes present 2 20.1-40.2 20.1 Nothing present In the northern Section1 from km 8.00, the installation of telecommunications cables according to Table 1, conduit nos. 1-3, in an existing conduit route is to be planned. The existing conduit route is located in the direction of travel toward Kiel in the green strip beside the carriageway. Cable manholes for pulling in cables are primarily present in the northern part of the route. From operating kilometer 15 to km 20, additional KS are to be included in the planning for this section. In Section1 between operating kilometer 8 and km 20, a cable house (KH) is also to be planned for the full termination of all cables and for equipping with active MPLS router technology. To supply this KH, a new application for a power connection from the local grid operator SHNetz may be required. The approval documents required for this are to be obtained as part of the approval planning and prepared ready for signature. The new KH should preferably be constructed on one of the PWC facilities along the route. A completely new route with a cross-section and cable configuration according to Table 2 is to be continued farther south in Section2 to the Wahlstedt switching house at motorway operating kilometer 40.2. All cables will be fully terminated there. The total length of the new telecommunications route to be installed in Sections 1 and 2 is therefore approx. 32 km. This document describes the planning services required for the tendering of the system’s construction work in accordance with HOAI2021 §55. 2. Route and system configuration in the first section km 8.0 - km 20.1 An existing conduit route with one/two DN 110 and three or four DN 50 cable protection conduits (KSR) runs parallel in the northern section to the edge of the carriageway in the direction of travel toward Kiel (RiFa North), from Stolpe (BAB km 20.1) in a cable manhole (KS), and ends at km 8.0 in a KS. The three new telecommunications cables according to Table 1, conduit nos. 1-3, are to be installed in this conduit route as part of the construction work to be planned here and connected via corresponding splice closures in the existing cable manholes.
