Germany – Architectural services for buildings – New construction (additional storey) of the former CJD building in Vaihingen Enz

Opportunity description

With the adoption of the Ganztagsförderungsgesetz (GaFöG), a legal entitlement to all-day education and care for children of primary school age in Baden-Württemberg, beginning with grade 1 from the 2026/2027 school year, becomes binding. To implement this legal entitlement, the City of Vaihingen an der Enz intends, through the redesign of existing care elements at the municipal property at Schlossbergstraße 28 (CJD workshops), to provide flexible schoolchild care with an expanded range of care services before and after school. For this purpose, partial demolition of the existing building and a new building (approx. 840 m² net floor area) on the existing basement are planned. An approved design already exists (service status: service phase 3); this is the mandatory basis for further planning. The documents will be made available to the selected bidders in stage 2. Building design in accordance with Section 34 HOAI – parts of service phase 3 (5%) as well as service phases 4–9 + special services (including familiarization with/review of the performance of existing preliminary services, monitoring the rectification of defects within the limitation period). The service phases will be commissioned in stages (LP3-5). It is intended to agree in the contract on a bonus (success fee) for coming in below the cost calculation.
