Opportunity description
The Bevensen-Ebstorf Joint Municipality is planning to renovate the sports hall of Himbergen Primary School. The hall, built in the 1970s, is currently in many respects at the technical standard of that time. Since its construction, only parts of the changing area have been renovated, meaning that, for example, the impact walls, sports flooring, sports equipment and other technical facilities are no longer state of the art. The hall is currently used by the primary school for physical education and by local clubs for club sports. The architectural and technical building equipment planning services in accordance with HOAI are being tendered in separate lots. A phased commissioning is planned. The hall itself has a floor area of around 449m² and is fitted on both long sides with an outdated version of impact wall/tongue-and-groove wall cladding. As set out in the project description, the plan is to fully adapt the gymnasium to the current requirements for a modern school/club sports hall. Particular attention is to be paid to the requirements for the necessary energy-related and technical adaptations and the sporting requirements needed to achieve a contemporary and future-proof hall. The main objective of this tender is to develop the preliminary planning for a renovation to the point where the result can be used to participate in the application process for the upcoming “Funding Programme for the Renovation of Municipal Sports Facilities” and, ideally, to obtain this funding as well. With the initial aim of securing a funding commitment, service phases 1-3 of the HOAI are to be commissioned for this measure in the first step. However, bidders are requested to submit a price for all service phases, as the measure is to be implemented once funding has been successfully approved. According to an initial cost estimate from December 2025 based on the most recent gymnasium renovations, the scope of the renovation for cost group 300 amounts to approx. 1.812.052,-€ (net)/2.156.343,-€ (gross), and for cost group 400 approx. 1.072.870,-€ (net)/1.276.716,- € (gross). The services will be commissioned in 2 stages: • initially only Stage 1: HOAI service phases 1-3 • Stage 2: HOAI service phases 4-9 The hall itself has a floor area of around 449m² and is fitted on both long sides with an outdated version of impact wall/tongue-and-groove wall cladding.
