Opportunity description

The City of Edenkoben is planning the new construction of a four-group daycare center. The new building is preferably to be constructed at ground level on a 2,711 m² plot located directly on Rhodter Straße. A site plan including an aerial photograph forms part of the procurement documents. One challenge is planning the access, as access for staff and parents, particularly the parking spaces, is to be provided on parcel 2390/27 located to the north. Between the two is a vocational school, across whose grounds pedestrian access is to be provided. Deliveries of goods are planned via Rhodter Straße, with the option of 1-3 additional parking spaces at the southern property boundary. The daycare center is preferably to be constructed at ground level; the requirements of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate for the planning of daycare centers must be observed. A cost estimate dated 27.10.2025 also forms part of the procurement documents. The costs have increased by an estimated EUR 300,000.00 due to the installation of a fresh-cooking kitchen, which is also to be planned. The kitchen is to be designed for approximately 200 meals, of which 100 meals are for the new building and 100 meals are for existing daycare centers. The cost figures are preliminary estimates and may change over the course of the project. With this notice, the building design services required for this purpose are put out to tender as Lot 1, with separate notices for: Lot 2 - Outdoor facilities design services, Lot 3 - Technical equipment specialist planning services, HVAC and plumbing, Lot 4 - Technical equipment specialist planning services, electrical, Lot 5 - Structural design services. The chargeable costs amount to: cost group 300: EUR 1,799,641.45, cost group 400: EUR 804,896.10, cost group 600: EUR 91,794.92 - estimated net in each case.
