Construction of the new bridge over the B72/210 and the EAE railway line as part of the K113/115n in Georgsheil in accordance with the bill of quantities The District of Aurich and the independent City of Emden, through their joint operating company Kliniken Aurich-Emden-Norden mbH, are planning the construction of a new central hospital. The site for the new central hospital (ZKG) is located in the municipality of Südbrookmerland near the village of Georgsheil, Uthwerdum cadastral district, northeast of the junction of federal road B 72/210 with district roads 113 and 115. The Aurich/Abelitz railway line runs parallel to federal road 72/210 and is currently operated solely for freight traffic by Eisenbahninfrastrukturgesellschaft Aurich-Emden (EAE). The District of Aurich, as the competent road construction authority for district roads 113 and 115, intends to construct a partially grade-separated junction with an overpass structure over federal road 72/210 and the parallel Aurich / Abelitz railway line in order to provide high-quality and safe access to the hospital site. The construction of a new K 115n transport axis is planned, which, starting from the existing B 72/210-K 113-115 junction, will initially be diverted southward along the existing route and then returned northward as a new-build axis in the form of a loop ramp over the new bridge structure to be constructed. The connection to the new hospital site on the north side of the federal road will be provided by constructing a four-arm roundabout. Further along, shortly before the entrance to Uthwerdum, the route will rejoin the existing K 115. The grade-separated crossing over the bridge structure requires the K 115n to be constructed largely on an embankment.
