Opportunity description

The services requested within the framework of this procurement procedure and described below comprise maintenance cleaning (results-oriented) as well as glass and frame cleaning for the properties of WirtschaftsEntwicklungsGesellschaft Bochum mbH. The tendered services are divided into two specialist lots. One specialist lot relates to maintenance cleaning services and is divided into two sub-lots: Lot 1: Results-oriented maintenance cleaning (technology centers, administration & other properties) Lot 2: Results-oriented maintenance cleaning (parking garages) A further specialist lot comprises glass and frame cleaning services: Lot 3: Glass and frame cleaning Description of the procurement The services described below comprise results-oriented maintenance cleaning services for the properties of Bochum Wirtschaftsentwicklung (Lot 1: Administration and technology centers, see Annex B0 Property overview). However, it should already be pointed out here that Bochum Wirtschaftsentwicklung continuously records additions and removals of properties and/or cleaning areas. If properties are relinquished, the contractor’s entitlement to perform the services for them also lapses. For the addition of properties, the conditions offered in this invitation to tender shall apply for quantity increases of up to 20% (in relation to the cleaning area). The following services are therefore required: - Results-oriented maintenance cleaning - Deep cleaning and initial care measures (included in maintenance cleaning) - Special cleaning Due to the differing structural conditions and user requirements as well as the high standards of presentation, there are high requirements for cleaning quality. The service provider must coordinate the provision of cleaning services accordingly, taking into account the aspects of quality and preservation of value. The contracting authority considers a high degree of individual responsibility for needs-based, high-quality service provision to be mandatory. In addition, it is once again explicitly pointed out here that fingerprints on interior glass and entrance doors must be removed as part of maintenance cleaning. Glass and frame cleaning is the cleaning of glass and frame surfaces as defined in the invitation to tender (e.g. on one or both sides, including frames and rebates, facade glass, exterior doors and windows) at defined intervals. The objective of glass cleaning is to achieve clean glass surfaces free of dust, clouding, streaks and water spots. Glass and frame cleaning within the meaning of this service comprises: - cleaning the entire surface of glass areas (inside and outside) - cleaning frames, including rebates and weather bars, fittings, frame and supporting structures - cleaning all glass surfaces (e.g. including synthetic glass) The glass surfaces are cleaned with a damp or wet method. Adhering dirt is removed with a blade. The surfaces, including the corners, must then be dried precisely with a chamois. Frames, fittings and rebates must also be cleaned. - Cleaning glass surfaces, glass blocks, art objects, glass roofs (such as canopies), window frames including rebates, as well as reveals, frames, fittings and rebates. - The glass surfaces must be wiped with a wet method and dried with a chamois cloth or rubber squeegee. The cleaning water must be changed frequently so that it always retains its cleaning effect. After cleaning, the glass surfaces must be clean, free of dust, clouding, streaks and water spots, and free of excess moisture. - The frames must be cleaned with a suitable solution and then wiped dry. - Dirty water that has run onto frames and window sills must be removed. - Window sills, radiators and the like must be suitably protected against soiling and damage. Whether the measures taken are to be regarded as sufficient is subject to assessment by the contracting authority. - After cleaning has been completed, all soiling caused during the work must be removed, and windows and doors must be closed. All furnishings and other items must be returned to their original places. Equipment, care products and cleaning agents must be put away again. Procedure: open.
