Opportunity description
Turnkey planning and construction of the new extension building for Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School using modular timber construction on the municipal property at Schubertstraße 4 in 68723 Schwetzingen, together with the development and connection of the outdoor areas around the new building to the existing facilities. The City of Schwetzingen intends to expand the existing Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School site at Schubertstr. 4 with a new building using modular timber construction. For this purpose, with the use of funding, Johann-Michael-Zeyher Primary School is to be expanded into an all-day school by means of a new extension building. The extension building has no direct connection to the existing primary school building, but, in addition to further classrooms, is intended to accommodate all-day care, including a cafeteria. In terms of elevation, the new building is to be positioned so that it can be accessed barrier-free and wheelchair-accessibly from the existing school and the access road (spur road). The neighboring railway property is directly adjacent. The primary school currently has two classes per grade, with approximately 175 pupils. Following the expansion into an all-day school, it is to continue to have two classes per grade, with a maximum of 28 pupils per class. In addition, Zeyher Primary School also has two preparatory classes (maximum 24 pupils per class) and, prospectively, a junior class (maximum 20 pupils), meaning that at maximum full capacity, 292 pupils can be taught. The building structure is to be constructed as a three-story 3D modular timber building. The subject matter of the contract is the design, approval, execution, and detailed/workshop planning, together with the manufacture and turnkey construction of the school building, as well as the construction of the access routes and utility infrastructure, including the connection points around the building to the existing conditions and the existing schoolyard, which will remain unchanged. Procedure: neg-w-call. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
