Opportunity description

The contracting authority intends to expand its bus fleet with battery-electric low-floor buses. The subject of the tender is the manufacture and delivery of six (6) identical solo buses with battery-electric drive, together with the associated services (full-service contract for six years, see Annex 2 to the technical procurement documents) and supplementary training services (workshop, driving and rescue personnel). By "battery-electric low-floor buses," the contracting authority means vehicles that obtain their driving energy exclusively from a battery storage system installed in the vehicle and have an electrified drivetrain. In particular, the buses must have the following basic equipment features: • Low-floor bus of EC vehicle category M3, Class I • Vehicle length 12.0 m ≤ L ≤ 12.5 m (solo bus) • Battery-electric drive including charging interface in accordance with the VDV core use case • Automatic operation, lowering system (kneeling), video surveillance • Air conditioning of the driver's and passenger compartments • Passenger information inside and outside (RBL/IBIS-capable) The contracting authority intends to expand its bus fleet with battery-electric low-floor buses.
