Opportunity description

The Free State of Bavaria, represented by the Government of Upper Bavaria, is responsible for operating the initial reception facility at Garmischer Straße 2-12, 80339 Munich – hereinafter referred to as “EAE”. The EAE is the first point of contact for all persons who come to Upper Bavaria as part of an asylum procedure and serves for the initial reception, registration and onward referral of asylum seekers within and outside Upper Bavaria. Their stay there generally lasts from a few days to a few weeks. The contracting authority commissions the contractor to provide catering in the form of a full supply of food and beverages as well as the delivery of packed lunches following the relevant individual call-off. During the term of the contract, individual services included in the scope of services may be discontinued or subsequently reinstated. The EAE is a socially sensitive property. Particular account must be taken of the special sensitivity of the duty of protection, the heightened public profile and the particular conditions involved in dealing with foreign refugees (e.g. language barriers, trauma and differing mentalities and cultures). The contractor and the employees deployed by it must treat asylum applicants respectfully and, where necessary, consult and coordinate with the other property-related service providers.
