Opportunity description
Pestalozzi School -Title 20 - Heating Construction Phases 2+3 The school building is supplied via an existing district heating connection from MVV- Netze GmbH through an indirect connection using two district heating transfer stations. The existing district heating station, currently operating directly, will be converted for indirect operation using a heat exchanger. The installations will be located in the heating plant room in the basement. The district heating network is operated year-round. The district heating transfer stations are designed for 130/50°C on the primary side and 75/40°C on the secondary side. Several building heating circuits and sub-distribution systems of the school are supplied from the "Building heating" district heating transfer station and divided by means of heating distributors / collectors (static heating, radiant ceiling panels, HVAC systems and domestic hot water heating for shower / changing areas). A kitchen is planned on the ground floor. Domestic hot water heating for this is provided by means of a fresh water station with an upstream heating buffer storage tank via the "Kitchen domestic hot water heating" district heating transfer station. This installation is also located in the heating plant room in the basement. The radiators and the heating coils of the HVAC systems are designed for 60/40°C, and the radiant ceiling panels for 70/50°C. The entire heat distribution network will be installed using a stainless-steel press-fitting system. The distribution lines will be installed in the basement and on the ground floor. In accordance with the German Building Energy Act (GEG), all main, distribution and connection lines will be thermally insulated with aluminium-laminated mineral wool; insulation caps are also provided for all fittings to reduce heat losses. For space heating, all areas from the basement to the top floor will be equipped with tubular radiators. The existing cast-iron or steel radiators will be replaced with new steel tubular radiators. The locations of the radiators beneath the windows will be retained. Radiant ceiling panels are planned for heating the gymnasiums on the top floor / in the attic and the large cafeteria on the ground floor. All static heating surfaces will be equipped with shut-off and adjustable return screw fittings. For individual room temperature control, one zone valve with actuator is always planned for each room. Hydraulic balancing between the radiators within a room is carried out via the return screw fitting. Pipe penetration seals are provided where pipes pass through fire walls or ceilings with the corresponding F rating. Procedure: open.
