Germany – Cleaning and sanitation services – Implementation of animal disease prevention measures for vehicles, containers and other material in Germany

Opportunity description

In the context of military transports/relocations, in order to prevent the spread of so-called biohazards (animal diseases, but also plant diseases, invasive animal species or similar), it may become necessary at short notice, on the basis of the requirements of EU animal health law, the national Animal Health Act and the Bundeswehr’s own requirements in this regard, to subject, in particular, vehicles, containers and other material/equipment to animal disease prevention treatment. Depending on the condition of the affected vehicles, containers and other material, these measures may include cleaning, pest control where applicable, disinfection and preservative measures where applicable. The measures are to be carried out by the contractor only when required (see above), upon instruction from the competent Bundeswehr veterinary authority (ÜbwSt ÖRA Bw). This market consultation is a non-formal, transparent and non-discriminatory procedure in preparation for a procurement procedure. It is expressly not yet a procurement procedure for the acquisition of services.
