Partial demolition, gutting and hazardous materials remediation of a vacant former administrative building; built in 1974, building height approx. 24 m, 8 full storeys, no basement, 2 entrances; reinforced-concrete frame construction. Advance dismantling, gutting and hazardous materials remediation work in an existing building in Berlin-Lichtenberg is being put out to tender. The work includes in particular the gutting of the building, the professional removal of components contaminated with hazardous substances, protective and safety measures, the separation by type of the resulting waste, as well as its supplementary classification, transport and disposal. Also included is the required assistance with sampling of stockpiles, disposal documentation and consignment note procedures, as well as documentation of the work performed. The work will be carried out on the basis of the hazardous materials investigations and the procurement documents, in compliance with the relevant hazardous-substances, occupational-safety and waste-law requirements, particularly for activities involving asbestos-containing building materials and man-made mineral fibres.
