Opportunity description
On the site of the former broadcasting facility on the outskirts of Jülich and in the immediate vicinity of the FH Aachen campus, a science park and innovative commercial area covering approximately 52 ha is currently being developed (hereinafter: “Brainergy Park Jülich”). The contracting authority is responsible for supplying heat to the properties in Brainergy Park. The buildings are to be supplied with heat via an almost CO₂-neutral district heating system. This water-filled LowEx network is operated by a central energy center that provides cooling in summer and heat in winter. The heat is supplied locally by heat pump systems housed in containers. As part of the expansion of the heating network, a new timber-constructed energy center is being built on the property of Brainergy Park Energie GmbH in Brainergy Park in Jülich. The new building is divided into a hall and a three-story structure. On the ground floor, there is the low-voltage system with sub-distribution, storage, telecommunications, a utility room with heating, and access to the office area on the first and second floors, with 14 workstations, a meeting room, kitchenette, loggias, and sanitary facilities. The subject of this procurement procedure is the manufacture, delivery, and installation of the ventilation systems for the energy center.
