Opportunity description
New construction of the low-voltage main distribution system after fire damage in the Operative Center (OPZ) Leipzig University Hospital intends to construct a new low-voltage main distribution system following fire damage in the Operative Center, building number 4241 (OPZ). The OPZ of Leipzig University Hospital (UKL) is an existing building with a solid reinforced-concrete frame structure and bracing access cores. The OPZ is divided into two sections, Tower A and Tower B, through which the floors are accessed by means of stairwells, visitor elevators and bed elevators. On the ground floor, these two areas are connected via the mall, which extends as a covered atrium up to the second floor. On the ground floor and 1st upper floor, the two areas are also connected via the wards or operating theaters and their corridors, but are not generally accessible. The two basement floors and the 5th upper floor primarily serve the technical supply of the hospital building. The actual hospital operations, with wards and administration, take place on the above-ground floors (ground floor to 4th upper floor). The Operative Center is the heart of UKL. The ground floor primarily houses the central emergency department, the outpatient clinic, neurosurgery, radiology and administrative areas. The 1st upper floor houses the intensive care units, operating theater wings A and B, and urology. The affiliated inpatient wards are located on the floors above. In 2016, a fault on a busbar between LVMD AV North and LVMD-SV North caused a fire in the switchgear room. The system was subsequently repaired sufficiently to allow it to continue operating, but it must now be completely replaced. Lot 330 – Electrical installations is put out to tender here. Other trades, such as indoor scaffolding, construction-site facilities, heating, sanitary installations, ventilation, building automation, fire alarm system, structural work, drywall construction, construction cleaning, core drilling work, steel doors/fire-protection gate, structural steelwork, painting, floor covering, tile covering and raised flooring, are being tendered and contracted in parallel. Details of the tendered service and its component measures, particularly the performance period, the requirements for construction-site facilities and material transport, as well as personnel and working hours, can be found in the bill of quantities and the project description. Procedure: neg-w-call. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
