Opportunity description
New construction of the low-voltage main distribution system following fire damage in the Operative Center (OPZ) Leipzig University Hospital intends to construct a new low-voltage main distribution system following fire damage in the Operative Center, building number 4241 (OPZ). The Operative Center of Leipzig University Hospital (UKL) is an existing building with a solid reinforced-concrete skeleton structure and bracing access cores. The OPZ is divided into two sections, Tower A and Tower B, through which the floors are accessed by stairwell, visitor elevators, and bed elevators. On the ground floor, these two areas are connected via the mall, which extends as a covered atrium up to the second floor. On the ground floor and first upper floor, the two areas are also connected via the wards or operating rooms and their corridors, but are not generally accessible. The two basement floors and the fifth upper floor are used primarily for the technical supply of the hospital building. The actual hospital operations, with wards and administration, take place on the above-ground floors (ground floor through fourth upper floor). The Operative Center is the heart of UKL. The ground floor primarily houses the central emergency department, the outpatient clinic, neurosurgery, radiology, and administrative areas. The first upper floor houses the intensive care units, operating room wings A and B, and urology. The associated inpatient wards are located on the floors above. In 2016, a fault on a busbar between NSHV AV Nord and NSHV-SV Nord caused a fire in the switchgear room. The system was subsequently repaired to the extent that it could continue to be operated, but it must now be completely replaced. Lot 330 – Electrical installations is being tendered here. Other trades, such as indoor scaffolding, construction site setup, heating, sanitary installations, ventilation, building automation, fire alarm system, structural work, drywall construction, construction cleaning, core drilling work, steel doors/fire-protection gate, structural steelwork, painting, floor covering, tile covering, and raised flooring, are being tendered and awarded in parallel. Details of the tendered service and its individual measures, including in particular the performance period, the requirements for construction site setup and material transport, and the requirements for personnel and working hours, can be found in the bill of quantities and the project description. Procedure: neg-w-call. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
