Opportunity description

Underground cable construction (FTTB) in the localities of Neustädtlein, Bernhardsweiler, Lautenbach, Oberdeufstetten and Unterdeufstetten. The Municipality of Fichtenau has decided, with the assistance of the "Zweckband Breitband Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall", to have a fiber-optic network infrastructure built and leased to a telecommunications company (operator) in order to provide comprehensive broadband coverage to citizens in the underserved areas of the project area. The technical concept provides for an FTTB network infrastructure intended to ensure one hundred percent coverage of all households and businesses in the expansion area. This requires excavations and the laying of conduit materials in open-cut trenches, trenchless conduit-laying work, as well as the installation of passive infrastructure, the placement of manholes and cable cabinets, and the pulling in and installation of fiber-optic cables.
