Opportunity description
As a preparatory measure for the replacement construction of the Small Lock in Kiel, clearance from explosive ordnance to an unlimited depth is to be established in the outer harbors of the so-called "Small Lock", on the fjord side and the inland side. The areas were divided into 5 clearance zones. The clearance zones from Lot 1 (inland side) and the clearance zones from Lot 2 (fjord side) are separated from one another by the Small Lock. For the most part, these are water areas, but they also include embankments above and below the waterline and, to a small extent, land areas. The water depths of the waterside clearance zones are between 0 and 11 m. The measure comprises explosive ordnance detection and clearance in the outer harbors of the Small Locks and in the embankment areas that have not yet been investigated, as well as the water area for a new ferry landing. Borehole and surface surveys will be carried out on land and in water down to a water depth of approximately 4 m, as well as obstacle clearance by means of screening. Across the entire area, individual-point clearance will be carried out using remotely controlled equipment and/or divers at a water depth of up to approximately 10 m. The total area is approximately 12.4 ha and will be divided into 2 lots. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
