Ravensburg Correctional Facility, new heating plant, technical ground engineering equipment for geothermal system The State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the State Office for Property and Construction, Ravensburg Office, is planning the construction of a new heating plant on the premises of the Ravensburg Correctional Facility, Hinzistobel 34, 88212 Ravensburg, in connection with the conversion and expansion of the electricity and heat supply. For heat generation, the heat source within and outside the grounds of the Ravensburg Correctional Facility is to be developed with a total of 77 geothermal probe boreholes, each with a depth of 160 m (approx. 12,300 linear m). These are divided among 3 geothermal probe fields: VT1: 22 geothermal probe boreholes VT2: 39 geothermal probe boreholes VT3: 16 geothermal probe boreholes The work will be carried out in 2 construction phases: BA1: Geothermal probe boreholes including pipe installation up to the heating plant BE fence BA2: Heating plant BE fence to the heating plant building entry Including disposal of drilling spoil, backfill material (approx. 250 m³), pipe trenches (approx. 1,550 m³), brine pipes DA50 (approx. 8,900 linear m), distribution shafts (3 units), heat-transfer fluid (approx. 59,000 l) and main brine pipe DA 125 (140 linear m)/DA 140 (280 linear m)/DA 200 (150 linear m).
