Ravensburg Correctional Facility, New Heating Center, Technical Ground Engineering Equipment for Geothermal System The State of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the State Agency for Property and Construction, Ravensburg Office, plans to construct a new heating center on the premises of the Ravensburg Correctional Facility, Hinzistobel 34, 88212 Ravensburg, in connection with the conversion and expansion of the electricity and heat supply. For heat generation, the heat source on and outside the grounds of the Ravensburg Correctional Facility is to be developed with a total of 77 geothermal probe boreholes, each 160 m deep (approx. 12,300 linear meters). These are divided among 3 geothermal probe fields: VT1: 22 geothermal probe boreholes VT2: 39 geothermal probe boreholes VT3: 16 geothermal probe boreholes The work will be carried out in 2 construction phases: BA1: Geothermal probe boreholes, including pipe installation up to the construction-site fence of the heating center BA2: Construction-site fence of the heating center to the building entry point of the heating center Including disposal of drill cuttings, backfill material (approx. 250 m³), pipe trenches (approx. 1,550 m³), DA50 brine pipes (approx. 8,900 linear meters), distribution shafts (3 units), heat-transfer fluid (approx. 59,000 l), and main brine pipe DA 125 (140 linear meters)/DA 140 (280 linear meters)/DA 200 (150 linear meters).
