Opportunity description
-Renewal of the carriageway using concrete construction and of the bridge approach areas of the 5 overpass structures using asphalt construction Lot 3_Road and civil engineering construction The construction project comprises the complete renewal of the Hannover-bound carriageway (RF) of the BAB 2 in the road section between operating km 68+877 and operating km 79+4620. The construction section has a length of 10.583 km. The Burg-Zentrum interchange is located within the construction section. In addition, the Krähenberge PWC facility is located along the construction section. The construction section lies between the Burg-Ost interchange to the east and the Lostau-Hohenwarthe interchange to the west. These two interchanges are not located within the construction section; nevertheless, impacts regarding traffic management during the construction period and the necessary traffic sign gantries and traffic sign cantilever arms within the construction section must be taken into account. Within the construction section there are 5 overpass structures (Ü-Bauwerk) and 5 A-structures along the federal motorway. All A-structures have asphalt surfacing. The carriageway will undergo complete renewal using concrete construction. The bridge approach areas of A-structures 39A, 40A, 41A, 42A and 43A will be renewed using asphalt construction. In the area of the A-structures, the existing asphalt pavement will be renewed. Traffic on the motorway must be maintained throughout the entire construction period. The Burg-Zentrum interchange must be kept open insofar as possible. When individual ramps at the Burg-Zentrum interchange are closed, public traffic will be diverted via neighboring interchanges. The Burg-Zentrum interchange may be closed only for the period defined in the attached rough schedule. To increase traffic safety during 4s+0 traffic on the Berlin-bound carriageway, emergency stopping bays have already been constructed at the edge of the carriageway on the Berlin-bound carriageway as part of an advance maintenance measure.
