Comprehensive transport-planning and urban-development reorganization of the western city entrance in Bingen before the start of the 2029 Federal Garden Show, including demolition of a pedestrian underpass, construction of a roundabout, relocation of the "Fruchtmarkt" road incl. open spaces between the Nahe Bridge and the level crossing with redesign and visual enhancement, complete reconstruction of Gerbhausstraße between Freidhof and Fruchtmarkt and of Amtsstraße between Fruchtmarkt and Badergasse, redesign of the Gerbhaus parking lot, Laternenplatz and Freidhof, redesign of the Fruchtmarkt/Salzstraße level crossing with parts of Museumsstraße, barrier-free conversion of the ramps on both sides of the railway underpass in extension of Gerbhausstraße, renewal of the drainage sewer and water pipeline in Gerbhausstraße using open-cut construction.
