The subject of the procurement is all-risks insurance for freight wagons leased by the contracting entity from companies outside the DB Group. These are primarily flat and covered freight wagons. The contracting entity is DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH. As a wholly owned subsidiary of DB InfraGO AG, it provides services for railway infrastructure and construction-site logistics within the DB Group and uses the aforementioned leased wagons for this purpose. The total sum insured is expected to amount to EUR 171.68 million. This value is currently represented by a total of 1,438 wagons. The wagons are insured at replacement value. The contract is subject to a deductible of EUR 10,000 and a liability limit of EUR 5 million per insured event.
