Opportunity description

The City of Husum is the school authority responsible for the three primary school locations Bürgerschule, Iven-Agßen-Schule and Klaus-Groth-Schule, with the Schobüll branch location within the city, and intends to commission an external service provider with the organizational and educational implementation of the school-based full-day support program pursuant to Section 24(4) of Book VIII of the German Social Code (Full-Day Support Act). The subject of this procurement is the provision of the following services at all three Husum primary school locations plus one branch location: - Assumption of responsibility for and coordination of the Open Full-Day Program (OGS) in consultation with the respective school management and the City of Husum as the school authority; - Ensuring a reliable, fee-based childcare service for primary school children with a legal entitlement to full-day support (children starting school from the 2026/2027 school year); - reliable and fee-based childcare services for primary school children in year groups that do not meet the legal entitlement requirements; - Organization, coordination and implementation of supplementary full-day programs for all primary school children at the three locations plus the branch location; - Ensuring high-quality holiday childcare (up to four weeks of closure per school year permitted); - Assistance and supervision during lunchtime meal provision; - Assistance and supervision during homework support; - close cooperation with the school management teams, teaching staff and the City of Husum as the school authority.
