Since 2020, the State of Berlin has provided public schools with the itslearning learning management system, funded by state resources, in addition to the Moodle-based Lernraum Berlin. Since the contract is expiring, a non-Moodle-based LMS is now to be procured through a procurement procedure as a supplement to Lernraum Berlin so that schools can continue to be offered an alternative.
