Opportunity description

The City of Gronau (Westf.) is planning the construction of the new Grüne-Aue School, a primary school in the western part of the city. The brownfield site of the former railway line between Marschallstraße to the north and Steinstraße and Brookstraße to the south is intended for this purpose. An area of approx. 5,500 m² is available here for the construction of the new school. The site was previously used for commercial purposes and will be remediated by a contracted company before the structural work begins. The ground floor and upper floor of the future school building will be constructed using a timber-hybrid construction method. The partial basement will be made of waterproof concrete. The building will have a flat-roof structure with a final green roof and a photovoltaic system in some areas. The electrical installation work is being put out to tender as part of this project. The scope of the tender includes: KG 440: - PV system with 220 solar modules, total output approx. 100 kWp - One low-voltage main distribution board, six floor distribution boards with 63 group fuses, KNX switching actuators for the lighting and blind system - Approx. 20,000 m of NHXMH-J cable and 7,500 m of JHSTH and KNX cable - Approx. 420m of cable tray from 100mm to 600mm, approx. 2500 cable clips and collective supports, approx. 500 installation conduits, as well as nine floor boxes - Approx. 500 flush-mounted switching devices, approx. 80 2-channel presence detectors, KNX and Dali, six surge-protection enclosures - Approx. 120 continuous-row luminaires, approx. 130 surface-mounted and recessed luminaires, 45 pendant luminaires - 420 m of lightning protection work, 140 high-voltage-resistant insulated cable, 26 air-termination rods, 148qmm step-voltage mats KG 450: - Three emergency call sets for accessible toilets - One intercom system at the main entrance - Public address system with approx. 70 loudspeakers - Fire alarm system with 5 loops, 62 automatic detectors, 87 detectors with sounders, 12 alarm sounders, fire brigade connection with fire brigade key depot, release element and FIBS - Four network cabinets, with approx. 350 IT ports, 300m of fiber-optic cable and 10,000m of Cat 7a cable The anticipated execution period is immediately after the contract is awarded, until 06.07.2027.
