Opportunity description

The subject of the invitation to tender is the replacement of a fully automated picking system in the pharmacy at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin site. The pharmacy picks medications for internal operating processes and external partners. As the old system has reached the end of its customary service life, it is being replaced. The pharmacy plays a central role in the supply of medications for the entire hospital as well as external partners. The equipment currently in use has reached the end of its customary service life and must therefore be completely replaced. The objective of the invitation to tender is to replace the existing systems with modern, high-performance, standards-compliant equipment in order to ensure long-term operational reliability, patient safety, and compliance with all statutory and hygiene requirements. The procurement of a new fully automated picking system includes the dismantling and proper disposal of the old system as well as the delivery, installation, commissioning, safety inspection, and instruction, including training of personnel, for the new system. Structural upgrading of the building is expressly not part of the invitation to tender and will be carried out by our construction department. This requires close coordination with the contracting authority as well as flexible construction and installation processes. The fully automated picking system offered must correspond to the state of the art, enable processes that can be validated, operate energy-efficiently, and comply with the relevant standards (e.g. Falsified Medicines Directive 2011/62/EU, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/161, and Federal Law Gazette Part I, Year 2019 No. 30 Page 1202).
