Opportunity description

The subject of the tender is the supply of electrical energy (green electricity) for the City of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony. The type and scope of the service are set out in the service description and the other procurement documents. The supply period begins on 01.01.2027 at 00:00 and ends on 31.12.2027 at 24:00. The supply period therefore amounts to one year. The specific start of supply for individual delivery points may differ from the stated supply period. In this respect, the information in the service description and its annexes (in particular the overview of delivery points) shall be authoritative. Unless otherwise stipulated in the service description or its annexes, the respective commencement of supply on 01.01.2027 at 00:00 shall apply as the start of supply. The supply covers a total of approximately 374 delivery points. The forecast reference consumption amounts to: • for the year 2027: 7.058.223 kWh/a As a condition of eligibility, it is stipulated that the electricity to be supplied must come exclusively from renewable sources. These include electricity generation from hydropower, including wave, tidal, salinity gradient and current energy, as well as from wind energy, solar radiation energy, geothermal energy or biomass, such as biogas, landfill gas and sewage gas. This also includes the biodegradable fraction of waste from households and industry. Electricity from generation facilities that use fossil fuels (e.g. coal or gas) or nuclear energy is not permitted.
