Opportunity description
The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) intends to procure a field-emission scanning electron microscope for the Electron Microscopy Core Facility. The microscope is to be procured as an extension of the existing Core Facility in order to generate low-noise, high-contrast 3D representations of complex biological structures. A fully integrated, automated field-emission scanning electron microscope is to be offered as a turnkey end-to-end solution that enables three-dimensional volume electron microscopy by means of SBFI. The overall system is to cover the complete workflow, from the hardware and integrated image processing through to software-based segmentation and three-dimensional visualization of the data. Compatibility with Dragonfly, Imaris, Matlab, and ImageJ is required. Procedure: open. Estimated value: 0 EUR.
