Opportunity description

Expansion of all-day educational and childcare services for children of primary school age ("OGT Duisburg"). Specialist planning services for technical equipment (§§ 53 et seq. HOAI) for the construction project "Expansion of GGS Am Lindentor" in Duisburg. The contracting authority has been commissioned by the City of Duisburg, among other things, to create additional spatial capacities for open all-day childcare at primary schools within the territory of the City of Duisburg. This capacity expansion is taking place against the background of the future legal entitlement to an open all-day place for primary school children. Within this program, extension buildings will be constructed at 15 school sites for this purpose, to be built as additions or conversions or as standalone buildings. The extension buildings generally include childcare rooms for open all-day care together with ancillary rooms, a kitchen, and a cafeteria. Additional classrooms will also be constructed at individual sites. At the GGS Am Lindentor site covered by this invitation to tender, an addition to the existing school building is planned. The addition is planned as a two-story new building comprising a cafeteria and a kitchen together with ancillary rooms. In addition, a childcare room for open all-day care is planned. The gross floor area is to be approximately 500 m2. Trees must be felled prior to the measure. After construction of the extension building, the adjacent areas will be adapted to the new building. System construction methods or (partially) prefabricated construction methods are conceivable as possible planning and construction concepts with a view to timely completion and are to be assessed for economic applicability during the further planning phase.
